Hello
My name is Kristina Jermain, and I am a Classical Homeopath. I recently graduated with distinction and special recognition for outstanding clinical performance from The Academy of Homeopathy Education, where I completed 500 hours of didactic training and over 500 hours of clinical training. Under supervision, I have helped a variety of clients ranging in age, gender, and condition including: allergies/chemical sensitivities, essential tremors, ADHD/behavioral issues, ankylosing spondylitis, hormonal imbalance, executive dysfunction, depression/anxiety, autism, PANS/PANDAS, and chronic pain. I plan to become a a Board Certified Homeopath through the North American Homeopathy Examiners by the end of 2025.
My Story
I was born and raised in California, and after earning degrees from UC Davis (B.A.) and Stanford University (M.Ed), I embarked on my first career as a high school English teacher. I left that career after 12 years to raise my family, always intending to go back. However, after my oldest daughter's onset of severe autism in 2015 and PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome) in 2016, my plans changed. My full-time job became caring for her, finding therapies, and researching treatment options that would allow her to live her best and happiest life. The options she had in the allopathic world ranged from "nothing" to some pretty serious psychiatric medications. Not feeling comfortable with those options for a three-year-old, I first turned to naturopathy, but the supplement regimen recommended for her was incredibly aggravating. I discovered practical homeopathy in 2017, and while I could see that it was doing something for her, it was also incredibly aggravating; the benefits were not outweighing the costs. I discovered classical homeopathy about a year after that, and that is when everything changed for her and our entire family. Classical homeopathy restored my daughter's health, happiness, and ability to live comfortably in her body in a relatively short amount of time. It also revolutionized my entire family's health, as I turned to homeopathy for our primary health care system. Personally, it has resolved Hashimoto's/hypothyroidism, migraines, a propensity for kidney stones, and gestational diabetes that became pre-diabetes postpartum. After witnessing the power of homeopathy first-hand in my own family, I decided to study to become a homeopath so I could help other families like mine find their way back to health.

Five years ago, my husband's job brought me and my family to Huntsville, Alabama, where we currently reside. In my spare time, I love exploring local nature trails with my two girls, taking scenic road trips with my family, curling up with a good book and my cats, and watching binge-worthy series (always open to suggestions!).
